FFT-P series equalizable taps FFT-P series equalizable taps

The ARRIS FFT-P series equalizable taps offer improved return path performance for advanced two-way HFC systems while maintaining backward compatibility with previous FFT install base. FFT taps allow for signal conditioning with optional plug-in, field configurable modules that include cable equalizers, return path attenuators, and cable simulators. These plugins allow for drop signal conditioning without affecting the main feederline path.

All FFT taps come equipped with an auto-seize F-connector which improves system reliability by providing increased clamping force and a greater surface/contact area over standard F-connectors.

FFE Forward Feederline Equalizer FFE Forward Feederline Equalizer

The ARRIS FFE Forward Feederline Equalizer is designed to compensate for feeder cable slope via 1 GHz pluggable cable equalizers. This 1 GHz FFE product includes the option of adding attenuation to the return path that enables improved signal-to-noise performance and tighter gain variances. The equalizer circuit is contained in the same type of housing as the SSP splitters, directional couplers, and power inserters.

The FFE-100 is readily shipped preconfigured with either 8 dB or 12 dB of forward equalization. Other plug-in equalizer values can be achieved by purchasing any available dB value of the 1 GHz ARRIS STARLINE SFE plug-in equalizer purchased with the FFE-HSG in the appropriate frequency split configuration for the network. The FFE supports frequency splits of 40/52 MHz, 42/54 MHz, 65/85 MHz and 85/104 MHz.

BTTF*-*P F-Port Power Extracting Taps BTTF*-*P F-Port Power Extracting Taps

The ARRIS BTTF*-*P 1 GHz power extracting taps are capable of delivering video, telephony, and data over the broadband hybrid fiber coax system. These taps have all of the same features and performance as our standard N-series taps, including 12 ampere power passing and surge resiliency, but with the additional feature of power extracting for cable Wi-Fi® applications.

The BTTF*-*P taps extract power from the cable feeder and deliver it to the Cable Wi-Fi Access Point via the F-Port. RF signals are distributed through the F-ports to the coaxial drop, as well.
